Head of Bread
The Head of Bread Department oversees bread production, research and development, quality control and team leadership. This role is responsible for developing new bread recipes, scaling production, maintaining quality standards and leading a team of bakers and production staff.
Store Manager - Seal Beach
Lead our newest Chaupain Bakery café in Seal Beach, delivering warm hospitality and exceptional guest experiences. Store Managers oversee daily operations, lead and develop team members, maintain quality standards, and help create a welcoming environment for both guests and staff. Previous restaurant management experience required.
Human Resources Generalist
Support our growing team by managing recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, and HR compliance across our bakery cafés and production facilities. This hands-on role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.
Supervisor (San Clemente, Newport Beach, Seal Beach)
Help lead our bakery café team and deliver the warm hospitality Chaupain is known for. Reporting to the Store Manager, Supervisors support daily operations, guide team members, and create exceptional guest experiences. 2+ years of restaurant supervisory experience preferred.
Cook (Newport Beach, Laguna Hills, Seal Beach)
Bring Chaupain’s handcrafted menu to life as part of our culinary team. Reporting to the Executive Chef and Kitchen Manager, Cooks prepare quality food in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining consistency and care. 3+ years of restaurant experience preferred.
Sales Associate (All Locations)
Be the face of Chaupain and create memorable experiences for our guests. Sales Associates provide friendly, attentive service while sharing our passion for handcrafted food and genuine hospitality. Customer service experience preferred.
Food Runner/Bussers (Seal Beach)
Support our bakery café team by keeping the dining room clean, organized, and ready for guests. Food Runners / Bussers assist with delivering food, clearing and resetting tables, and supporting the team in creating a welcoming guest experience. Previous restaurant experience preferred.
Dishwasher/Stewards (Seal Beach)
Keep our bakery café running smoothly by ensuring dishes, cookware, and kitchen equipment are cleaned and ready for service. Dishwashers support the kitchen team by maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred.
Driver (Seal Beach)
Help keep our locations stocked and running smoothly by safely transporting fresh products from our commercial bakery to our Seal Beach location each day. Drivers are responsible for safe, timely deliveries and handling products with care. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required; previous delivery experience preferred.
