Chaupain Bakery is a French-inspired bakery operated by a husband and wife team with a small group of dedicated individuals. They offer a variety of artisan breads, pastries, quiches, and other baked goods, all baked fresh in-house daily with only the best ingredients. Their head baker has over 15 years of experience creating French-style baked goods.
Who we are?
Our team at Chaupain Bakery is comprised of a dedicated group of individuals who share a passion for French-inspired baking and strive to deliver the highest quality baked goods. Sami founded the business seven years ago with just $140 at a Farmer’s Market in Bakersfield, and our team has worked tirelessly to help the business grow and flourish. When I joined the team in 2014, we were both pursuing different career paths; Sami was a CPA and I was completing my master’s degree at UCLA. As the business expanded, we made the decision to open our own brick and mortar location in South Orange County in 2017, which was a new and exciting venture for us. While we had to put our other careers on hold, we were thrilled to take the leap and pursue our passion for baking full-time. We are immensely grateful for our team and the support of our customers, without whom we would not be where we are today.

Our bakery offers a range of handcrafted breads, desserts, quiches, and other baked treats made fresh daily using premium ingredients. Our highly skilled Head Baker has honed his craft for over 15 years, having trained under an accomplished French baker to perfect his French-style baking techniques. One of the most fulfilling aspects of our business is the positive rapport we share with our valued customers, who have embraced us warmly. As our customer base continues to expand, we are overwhelmed with appreciation and joy.
